The bM Platform has been designed to be distributable in the cloud.

The bM Connectors can themselves  be installed remotely at the source application site or as embedded software on the hardware interfaces placed in the field for M2M services, while the bM Servers can reside on any public or private cloud.

One bM Server can ask for services defined by a bM Descriptor placed on another bM Server over IP connection, assuring horizontal scalability on geographic scale.

All those characteristics allow the bM Platform to be suitable for leveraging  the “Cloud Computing” potential and supporting the new “Internet of Things” paradigm.
